After Hnatiuk shared the photo online, it soon went viral, eventually receiving more than 6.7 million views and 40,000 likes. Even more surprisingly, the East Carolina University alumnus has swayed the allegiance of several supporters who were on the fence about supporting the Saints before.
In response to a tweet reading, “The Saints have always been my 2nd favourite team,” another user remarked, “Just become a Saints fan all of a sudden.”
The comments kept coming in, so Hnatiuk took to Twitter later that day, writing, “Y’all are wild lmao.”
Aileen Hnatiuk joked about the outfit that had everyone talking on Twitter the day after she had gained so many new followers.
