Yaariyan 2, a stand-alone sequel to the coming-of-age romantic drama Yaariyan, is set to come out in 2023, know the release date
The first part was directed by actor and producer Divya Khosla Kumar and had new actors like Himansh Kohli and Rakul Preet Singh. The second part will have an entirely different cast.
This time, Divya Kumar Khosla will play the main role in the film. She is also a producer, along with her husband, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Aayush Maheshwari.

The movie was officially announced on Wednesday, October 12, when a moving poster was released. The 47-second video clip was posted on T-official series’s social media account with the tagline “Cousins by blood, friends by choice!” “Yaariyan 2” brings you back to your family through true friendship.

The poster shows a car, a bus, a train, and other ways to get around. It also shows a bit of “Teri Talaash Mein,” one of the songs from the movie. From the movie poster, you can’t tell much about what the movie is about.
What About the Yaariyan 2 Cast?
The lead female role in the movie is played by Divya Kumar Khosla. It was made by Bhushan Kumar and T-Series. Divya has been in a lot of music videos in the past. She is best known for directing movies like Yaariyan and Sanam Re. She also played roles in movies like Love Today, Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo, Love Today, and Satyamev Jayate 2.
In his first Hindi movie, Yash Dasgupta will be paired with Divya. Yaariyan 2 will also feature Anaswara Rajan, Warina Hussain, Priya Varrier, Meezaan Jafri, and Pearl V Puri in key roles.

Along with the movie’s moving poster, T-Series also announced when Yaariyan 2 will come out. The movie, which is currently being filmed, will come out in theatres on May 12, 2023.
What About The Film?
But the people who made the movie haven’t said much about what happens in it. Reports say that the plot of the next instalment will be very different from that of the first. Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru are directing the movie, and they are also funding it through their Rao & Sapru Film company and T-Series.
Yaariyan 2 is Hindi remake of the 2014 Malayalam film Bangalore Days and a sequel to Yaariyan (2014 film).
