While Ubisoft have released closed betas in the past and confirmed everything set to arrive in the preseason, they have not confirmed any details about the release date.
XDefiant leaked release date
So far, Ubisoft have only stated that XDefiant will release in summer of 2023 without confirming any dates. This means that the game could either come out in late August or September. Meanwhile, the leaked release date for XDefiant is set as September 2. Renowned leaker LudwigAhgren posted on Twitter that they are hosting a tournament on September 2.
Interestingly, the promotional trailer also featured XDefiant alongside other games such as Minecraft, Fall Guys, and Street Fighter 6. With Gamescom 2023 Opening Night Live set to take place on August 22, Ubisoft could reveal the launch day. XDefiant is set to release on PlayStation, PC, as well as Xbox on last as well as current-gen. This means that players can play it on PS4 and PS5, Xbox One and Series X/S. Moreover, much to the delight of gamers, XDefiant has crossplay between all these three systems.

According to Ubisoft, the preseason will last for six weeks, following which a new season will arrive every three months. The new season will introduce weapons, factions, and maps.
