On Saturday, December 11, Roxanne Perez recently won her first Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge during WWE’s NXT Deadline. She won the match by scoring two falls, just avoiding a pinfall in the closing seconds.
She was delighted with her triumph, but someone else seemed overly pleased. Upon Perez’s victory, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T broke down in tears.

Roxanne Perez is a well-known American professional wrestler. She has been in the news because she recently won her first Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge during WWE’s NXT Deadline.
Her real name is Carla Gonzalez. She was born on November 5, 2001, in Laredo, Texas, U.S.
She is currently 21 years old with her height at 1.55m. Roxanne’s mother name is Christy Salinas and she is a Yoga instructor by profession while her father is Rick and both are from Texas. Perez has a a younger sister named Raquel Salinas. While she is unmarried, Perez has a boyfriend named Gino Medina who is a professional wrestler and the two have been in a relationship since 2022
Her Career
At the age of 13, Roxanne Perez started her training, and at the age of 16, she started working with Booker T. Under the ring name Rok-C, she made her pro wrestling debut in December 2018. Later, she won the ROW Diamonds Division Championship.
She started performing for Ring of Honor in April 2021, and she debuted alongside Max the Impaler in a time-limited draw with Laynie Luck and Hyan. At age 19, she became the first ROH Women’s World Champion and the youngest female champion in the history of the organization.
Her deal with WWE’s developmental brand, NXT, was confirmed in March 2022. She announced in April 2022 that she will perform under the ring name Roxanne Perez.
On the April 15 NXT Level Up broadcast, Roxanne Perez beat Sloane Jacobs to make her victorious WWE debut. She won the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament in May and June. Perez and Cora Jade beat Dolin and Jayne at The Great American Bash to win the title of NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions.
On the SmackDown broadcast airing on October 14, she made her debut on the main roster and chose Raquel González to face Jade. She won the first Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline on December 10 to advance to the position of a top challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship.
