WWE Raw Ratings And Viewership Decline After Hell in a Cell 2021

WWE Raw ratings and viewership slumped this week and face a massive decline as the company tried to follow up a weak Hell in a Cell ppv with an action-packed live event

Despite WWE featuring five top-tier Money in the Bank qualifier matches and two confirmation segments for championship matches, this week’s episode of Raw recorded the lowest viewership of 2021. Read on to know the numbers as to how the ratings turned out.

WWE Raw Viewership Encounters Decline After Hell in a Cell 2021

As per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the overnight viewership WWE Raw brought in this week was slightly lower than that of last week. While the event recorded 1.742 million viewers last week, the number decreased to 1.719 million this week. Narrowing it down to the age-group demographic of 18- to 49-year-old viewers, it dropped from 637K viewers to 630K viewers. Nevertheless, the demo rating stayed put at 0.49 for the red brand.

For a lay man, these numbers don’t mean much until kept in comparison to other successful Monday nights. Pro Wrestling Torch reported that the Raw following WrestleMania Backlash earned an overnight average of 1.732 million viewers with .48 as the demo rating. The previous two Raws before the PPV also boomed with an average of 1.817 million and 1.872 million viewers and a .53 demo rating.

This is way much better than the episode of Raw which aired this week after Hell in a Cell.
