WWE NXT TakeOver In Your House 2021 Update, Million Dollar Championship Returns

WWE NXT TakeOver In Your House 2021 Update, Million Dollar Championship Returns

On this week’s edition of NXT, legend Ted Dibiase announced that the Million Dollar Championship is back for WWE NXT Takeover In Your House 2021

Cameron Grimes and LA Knight will now fight for the prestigious title in a ladder match at NXT TakeOver In Your House 2021.

The Million Dollar Championship was originally designed for the ‘Million Dollar Man’ Ted Dibiase in 1989. It was an unsanctioned title. Ever since Ted Dibiase’s return, fans have been waiting for the classic title to make a return after its last televised appearance in 2010. It’s finally here and looks like it’s here to stay.

Grimes And Knight To Battle For The Million Dollar Championship At NXT TakeOver In Your House 2021

Grimes and Knight had been in a conflict over who should have the honor of carrying on Dibiase’s Million Dollar legacy. It was advertised that the WWE Legend will be making a ‘priceless’ announcement on the show. As Grimes and Knight cut promos, Dibiase had a golden ladder lowered down into the ring.

This is where he announced that the match between them  would be a ladder bout. The match was already set before Dibiase turned it into a ladder match and raised the stakes. Two security guards with bulletproof vests came out with a briefcase that had the gorgeous title belt inside. The winner of this match would become the Million Dollar Champion.
