On 2nd July, WWE Money in the Bank 2022 produced nail-biting matches with many surprise results, we take a look at the winners, match card results, grades and other details
The event featured seven matches that were played. Unannounced competitor Theory won the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match in the main event after losing the United States Championship to Bobby Lashley earlier in the evening. Liv Morgan won the women’s ladder match in the first match, and she later cashed in the contract to take Ronda Rousey’s SmackDown Women’s Championship away from her after she had just successfully defended it against Natalya.
WWE Money in the Bank 2022 Results Today, Fight Grades, MITB Winners, New Women’s Champion
The 13th Money in the Bank professional wrestling live event, presented by WWE, took place in 2022. The event was broadcast on pay-per-view (PPV) in every country and livestreamed on Peacock in the US and the WWE Network overseas. Originally slated to take place in the city’s Allegiant Stadium, it eventually moved to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in the Las Vegas suburb of Paradise, Nevada, on Saturday, July 2, 2022.
The men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, which included Drew McIntyre, Madcap Moss, Sami Zayn, and Sheamus from SmackDown and Omos, Riddle, and Seth “Freakin” Rollins from Raw, served as the main event. As the contest was ready to begin, WWE representative Adam Pearce entered and presented Theory as the match’s eighth undisclosed participant.
Omos seized Theory and chokeslammed him after Theory dove off the top rope at him. At the ringside, Riddle and Sheamus hit Omos with ladders before bringing him down. Omos was assaulted by a group of individuals outside the ring who shoved him through the announce table. In order to win the match, Theory knocked Riddle to the ground and unhooked the briefcase.
Finally, Liv Morgan can claim to be the global champion. On Saturday night, Morgan and the entire WWE community celebrated her spectacular seizure of the Money in the Bank briefcase. When she successfully used Ronda Rousey as leverage to win the SmackDown women’s championship, the tension only increased.
