Here is everything you need to know about the WWE King of the Ring 2021 tournament including it’s match ups, bracket, matches, date and live streaming

The King of the Ring is a singles elimination tournament held in the WWE, held to crown as the name suggests the King of the Ring. The competition dates back to 1985. The tournament was last held back in 2019, This tournament is probably one of the most legendary tournaments in the history of WWE.

The company announced that it be held in 2021 again and has already completed the round one of the tournament. Take a look below to find out details on the match ups, finals details and more.

WWE King of the Ring 2021: Winners, Matches, Brackets

The tournament was kicked off during last week’s Friday night SmackDown which hosted the first set of round one matches. The matches held were:

  • Rey Mysterio vs Sami Zayn: this match had a very unexpected ending. Zayn was able to beat Mysterio and advance to the semi finals of the tournament.
  • Cesaro vs Finn Balor: these two fought to book a place in the semi finals alongside Sami Zayn. Balor was able to beat Cesaro and advance to the next round.

The second set of round one matches were took place on this week’s Monday night Raw to determine the other two semi finalists. The matches were:

  • Kofi Kingston vs Jinder Mahal: Mahal proved to be dominant throughout the match and beat Kingston to secure his place in the semi finals.
  • Xavier Woods vs Ricochet: There was actually a bit of certainty as to who will qualify from this match. Fans were not disappointed as Xavier Woods qualified on to the next round.

Semi-Finals of King of the Ring

The semi finals are set and will be in the order stated below –

  • Finn Balor vs Sami Zayn (Upcoming Smackdown)
  • Xavier Woods vs Jinder Mahal (Upcoming Raw)

Predictions for the Final of the King of the Ring

Finn Balor vs Jinder Mahal looks the most likely match up for the finals of King of the Ring. With Balor being the favorite to win the match. Balor suffered a loss at the last WWE PPV and will look to engrave his name as the King of the Ring.

The final of King of the Ring has been scheduled to take place at the Crown Jewel PPV on October 21st. The event will be held at Riyad, Saudi Arabia. The last tournament was won by Baron Corbin back in 2019. It will be interesting to see who will be crowned the next King of the Ring in WWE this year.
