With just one week left for the pay-per-view, check out the latest WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 updates, including the current match card, rumors and how to watch the pay-per-view
With the COVID-19 pandemic now improving in many places, WWE has started easing its restrictions. It’s taking steps to return to live action in July. The company moved Hell in a Cell from its usual spot in the fall to June 20. It pushed back the expected Money in the Bank pay-per-view so it could happen in front of a live crowd.
As a consequence, Hell in a Cell will become the only PPV to be held twice at WWE’s virtual stage, The Thunderdome.
Following are the latest WWE Hell in a Cell Updates 2021 And Match Card
WWE Hell in a Cell will take place on June 20, 2021. This will be the final pay-per-view the company will broadcast from the WWE ThunderDome, hosted at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. This is good news as the company will resume live touring with fans in mid-July. It will be the 13th event under the Hell in a Cell chronology and the first to be held in June, as the event is generally held in October.
While there are still a week worth of live events to witness before the PPV, following is the match card as it stands right now.
- Bobby Lashley (c) (with MVP) vs. Drew McIntyre – Last Chance Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE Championship
- Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair – Singles Match for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship
- Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley – Singles Match for the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship
- Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Rey Mysterio (with Dominik Mysterio) – Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE Universal Championship
WWE hasn’t confirmed a match for the Raw Tag Team Championships yet. But rumors say that it will happen between AJ Styles, Omos (c) and The Viking Raiders, following their Battle Royal win to determine the number one contenders, last week on Raw.
