WWE Extreme Rules 2021 will take place at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, on Sunday, September 26 . This will be the first time it will take place in the month of September. Moreover, it was previously scheduled to happen at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. But, it was relocated due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. While no matches have been announced for the pay-per-view yet, WWE has released the official teaser and poster for Extreme Rules. The event is known for having the most matches under gimmicks, including at least one Extreme Rules match.

Following is the trailer featuring superstars Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Alexa Bliss, Finn Balor and Asuka. RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley also make appearances in other additional promotional material.
