On Sunday, WTT Singapore Smash 2023 came to an end with a thrilling men’s singles championship match featuring Fan Zhendong vs Ma Long, we take a look at the final results, winners and list of champions along with their prize money
In a rematch of last edition’s final, men’s singles top-seed Fan Zhendong emerged victorious against second-seed Ma Long to retain his title. Following this win, Fan has won his second gold medal of this year’s edition.

Men’s and Women’s singles final & Men’s and Women’s doubles final results WTT Singapore Smash 2023
Fan Zhendong defeated Ma Long 4-1 (11-5, 13-11, 8-11, 11-9, 11-9) in a replay of last year’s championship match to clinch the men’s singles title. Once the last point was played, Fan Zhendong pumped his fists repeatedly in celebration of winning his 24th career championship, filling Infinity Arena with a beaming smile. The following week, Fan would increase his advantage over Ma Long, now ranked No. 2, in the world rankings.
Sun Yingsha defeated Qian Tianyi 4-1 (11-7, 10-12, 13-11, 11-6, 11-7) to win the Women’s Singles title at WTT Singapore Smash 2023. With the victory, the World No. 1 completed a clean sweep of the available titles, as she had already clinched the Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles competitions. Currently ranked No. 1 in the world, Sun will put 3115 points between herself and Chen Meng.

WTT Singapore Smash 2023 format & list of champions
Sun Yingsha and Fan Zhendong, the victors of the men’s and women’s singles competitions, respectively, replicated their feats from previous editions as the WTT Singapore Smash came to an end on Sunday. Sun Yinsgha, in contrast, was the big winner in Doha after she was able to take home three gold medals, including in the women’s doubles & mixed doubles categories.
At the 2023 WTT Singapore Smash, the total prize pool was $2,000,000 and each singles category winner will earn $100,000. Meanwhile, every winning doubles pair will earn $12,000 for their win.
