WTT Contender Muscat 2022 Winner Men’s, Women’s Singles Doubles Final Results, Score, Prize Money Pool
In the Men’s Singles Final, Liang Jingkun faced his compatriot, Lin Gaoyuan. The match took place on 5th March at 1:40 PM and Liang Jingkun emerged as the winner with a 4-1 win. Kuai Man won her Women’s Singles Final match with a dominant performance against Fan Siqi with a score of 4-1.
Rui Zhang and Kuai Man of China defeated India’s Sutirtha Mukherjee and Ayhika Mukherjee 11-6, 8-11, 12-10, 11-7 in the final of the WTT Contender Muscat. The Indian pair Manav Thakkar and Archana Kamath also suffered a loss in the finals of mixed doubles and settled for the silver medal.

WTT Contender Muscat 2022 Format and Prize Money Pool Distribution
The qualifying for the event began on February 27, 2022. The main draw began on March 2nd and concluded on March 5th with the final. The Sultan Qaboos Sport Complex in Muscat, Oman, hosted the competition. All the stages up to semi-finals included a best of five set match while the semi-final and final featured best of seven set matches.
Within the WTT Series Hierarchy, WTT Contender Muscat is the fourth-tier tournament. The tournament offered a $75,000 net prize money. A total of 400 IITF TT World Ranking points was awarded throughout all sub-events of the tournament.
