WTT annual event WTT Contender Muscat 2022 has reached the quarter-final stage, we take a look at the latest results and schedule of men’s and women’s singles events

On 3^rd March, Round of 16 matches across Men’s and Women’s Singles were settled. The players and stage are set for the quarterfinals matches on 4^th March 2022.

Manika Batra of India advanced to the quarterfinals of the WTT Contender Muscat on Thursday, defeating Bernadette Szocs of Romania 11-3, 13-11, 11-8. Meanwhile, In the women’s Round of 16, Archana Kamath was defeated by Xiaoxin Yang of Monaco 9-11, 5-11, 11-7, 9-11.

WTT Contender Muscat 2022 Format and Prize Money Pool Distribution

The tournament kicked-off on 27^th February 2022 with the qualifiers. The main draw began from 2^nd march and will end with the final on 5^th march. The tournament is being held at the Sultan Qaboos Sport Complex in Muscat, Oman.

WTT Contender Muscat is the fourth-tier tournament inside the WTT Series Hierarchy. The tournament has a net prize pool of $75,000. The tournament also consists of a total of 400 IITF TT World Ranking points across all sub-events.
