2023 WTT Contender Doha: men’s & women’s singles semi-final and mixed doubles final results
Despite her stellar run at the WTT Contender Doha 2023, Indian ace Manika Batra suffered heartbreaking defeat at the hands of Chinese star Rui Zhang by score of 1-3. Following her win, Rui has qualified for the championship match and will face compatriot Fan Siqi. In the other semi-final match, Fan Siqi defeated compatriot Liu Weishan to set up a rematch of last year’s final against Rui.
After winning the mixed doubles crown at last week’s tournament in Durban, Chinese pair Lin Shidong & Kuai Man once more emerged victorious at Doha after defeating fellow Chinese duo Lim Jonghoon & Shin Yubin by score of 11-4, 11-7, 11-7. Following their consecutive victories, Lin & Kuai are assured to enter the Top-10 ranking and experts believe that the pair will continuing their meteoric rise.
