WTT Contender Doha 2022 main stage has kicked-off, we take a look at the schedule, results and draw of men’s and women’s singles events
The tournament is taking pace at Lusail Sports Arena, Doha. The main stage of the tournament will run from 21st march till 24th march.

Men’s Singles and Women’s Singles Round of 32 Results
In a women’s singles first-round match of WTT Contender Doha, China’s Fan Siqi defeated India’s top paddler Manika Batra 11-7, 11-5, 11-6.
In men’s singles, Indian player G Sathiyan suffered an early exit as he lost in straight sets against Yuan Licen. Meanwhile, Indian player Sharath Kamal won his match in straight sets against Fahed Almughanne and marched onto the Round of 16.

WTT Contender Doha 2022 Format and Schedule
The WTT Contender Doha 2022 will take place in the Lusail Sports Arena and will begin on March 21st and go through March 24th. The qualifying stage of WTT Contender Doha began on 18th march 2022.
The main draw for the event will feature a 32-player draw for men’s and women’s singles, a 16-pair draw for men’s and women’s doubles, and a 16-pair draw for mixed doubles.
