Karl-Anthony Towns was left disgruntled after the news of Minnesota Timberwolves sacking president Gersson Rosas emerged
Although the inside details which have emerged over the Gersson Rosas justify Minnesota Timberwolves wielding the axe over their President of Basketball Operations, Karl-Anthony Towns hasn’t been impressed with the move.
Karl-Anthony Towns Despondent Over Gersson Rosas’ Sacking
After news of the latest development hit, Towns took to Twitter to send a simple message, one which read “WTF”. It was a clear swipe at his team with the player said to have shared a close relationship with Rosas.
wtf…

Towns tweet also alludes to the fact that the Timberwolves hadn’t informed the team of the decision with the side only getting to know through media reports. The team’s stance on Ben Simmons is now up in the air with there no clarity if the team will continue to push for the disgraced 76ers now that Rosas has been let go.
While Towns may be dismayed with the sacking, as per reports, the Timberwolves were fully justified in running out of patience with Rosas. He was persistently embroiled in controversy since taking over the role at the Timberwolves with him facing internal accusation of running a dysfunctional front office.
Rosas’ reign is said to have been one which saw tensions run high in the office and had been described as not sustainable. His decision making didn’t win the thinktank at Timberwolves either with complaints to team owner Glen Taylor and impending minority owners, Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez being the last straw for Rosas and his time at the Timberwolves.
Rosas is also said to have had an extra-marital affair with a team member.
