Meanwhile, South Africa will enter their maiden WTC final following an incredible run of seven consecutive Test wins.

The final match of the ICC WTC is set to begin on June 11, 2025, with match timings starting at 10:30 AM local time (09:30 GMT). The historic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London will serve as the venue for the final, marking the third straight WTC final hosted at a neutral venue.

WTC Final 2025 Prize Money pool

The ICC has notably doubled the prize pool for this year’s edition of the WTC final. As such, the winners of the WTC 2025 final will take home $3.6 million, while the runners-up will receive $2.1 million. Last year, the champions received $1.6 million, while the runners-up received $800,000.

WTC Final 2025 Reserve Day

The ICC have set aside June 16 as a reserve day, which will be used only if playing time is lost during the scheduled five days. This includes time lost due to rain or bad light and that cannot be made up within that period.

WTC Final 2025 weather forecast

Day one of the final, i.e., June 11, is expected to be overcast, which will set up ideal conditions for fast bowlers. Meanwhile, Rain is forecast for day two, and could reportedly interrupt the gameplay. The weather will eventually improve from day three onwards, i.e., from June 13-15, with mostly sunny skies and some patchy clouds expected.
