A win for Sri Lanka would have kept their WTC campaign alive, but luckily for India, New Zealand’s triumph means that India will qualify.
Meanwhile, Australia already secured their WTC final berth by winning the third test against India in Indore.

The grand finale of the World Test Championship 2023 between Indian and Australia will take place on June 7, 2023.

The Kensington Ovak in the UK will serve as the venue for the final match. Fans can expect the match to start at around 10:00 AM local time or 3:30 PM IST.
WTC updated points table
Australia and India are currently dominating the WTC points table with the number 1 and 2 spots respectively. Australia will maintain if the final Test match ends in a draw. The WTC points table witnessed a lot of movement with Sri Lanka missing out a close chance to overtake India.
However, New Zealand’s victory ended that possibility, as India will remain in the second position irrespective of their ongoing Test series results against Australia.
