Ashleigh Barty popularly known as Ash Barty is just second from Australia be ranked No. 1 in Women’s Singles by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) after Evonne Goolagong Cawley.

Reigning champion at Australian Open and Wimbledon has three Grand Slams so far including a French Open trophy in the year 2019.

2- Aryna Sabalenka

The Belarussian professional is at her career-high ranking. The player in 2021 was qualified for the Wimbledon semifinal as her best major defeating Ons Jabeur. She also won in Abu Dabi and Madrid following her triumph at the Mutua Madrid Open as her maiden WTA title defeating top seed Ash Bartu in the final. Extending her winning streak to 15 matches, she clinched her second trophy in Abu Dhabi and ended up as a finalist in Stuttgart.

3- Barbora Krejcikova

Barbora Krejcikova, from reaching the fourth round of the French Open tournament in 2020 to winning the trophy in 2021 where she defeated top-seeded Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the final. The same year, she was qualified for the fourth round of the Wimbledon championship that extended her winning streak to 15 matches.  She clenched her third title in Prague, advanced to the US Open quarterfinals and ended her 2021 season by qualifying until the fourth round at the Indian Wells.

She is at her career-high rank which she attained on 1 November 2021. Recently in 2022, the Czech Republic player reached the quarter-finals at the Australian Open.

4- Karolina Pliskova

The Czech professional is a formal World No. 1 player which she had gained in 2017 on July 17. Karolina ended up as a finalist in two Grand Slams in US Open 2016 and the 2021 Wimbledon. She reached the semifinals of the Australian Open in 2019 and the French Open in 2017.

5- Paula Badosa

She is at her career-high ranking which she attained on February 7, 2022. The Spanish professional recently reached the fourth round of the Australian Open 2022. She also ended up in the quarterfinals of the French Open in 2021 and the fourth round of the Wimbledon same year.

6- Garbine Muguruza

Garbine Muguruza was ranked as high as number 1. She has achieved 10 titles in the singles category including two Grand Slams namely French Open in 2016 and the Wimbledon trophy next year in 2017. She reached the finals of the WTA 2021.

7- Maria Sakkari

Sakkari was on her highest ranking when she was ranked 2 by WTA in 2021, November 1 and became the only female from Greece to do so on the Open Era.

She ended up at the fourth round of the Australian Open recently in 2022 and also in 2020. She qualified for the semifinals at the US Open and French Open in the year 2021.

8- Iga Swiatek

Iga Swiatek recently has been brilliant at the first Grand Slam of the year. The Polish professional is the youngest player to be ranked in WTA Top 10. The champion of the Roland Garros tournament in 2020 recently reached the semifinals of the Australian Open 2022 and the fourth round of the Wimbledon and US Open 2021.

Her beet ranking was when she was ranked No. 7 which she attained on 15th November 2021 as the highest-ranked Estonian to do so. In 2020, the player advanced to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open.

10- Ons Jabeur

The Turkish professional has been ranked as high as No. 7 which she attained on 1 November 2021 and is also the No. 1 African player currently. She is the first woman to reach the quarterfinals at any Grand Slam. She also won her first WTA trophy at the 2021 Birmingham Classic.
