The upcoming competition will feature some of the world’s top wrestlers from across the world inside the Serbian capital Belgrade.

Fans can collect their tickets at the Accreditation Center at Stark Arena and the ticket collection desk will be open daily from September 14th-24th from 10:00-20:00.

The upcoming competition includes all the three wrestling divisions – men’s freestyle, women’s wrestling, and Greco-Roman, with 90 Paris 2024 Olympic qualification berths available.
2023 Wrestling World Championships competition preview
Going into the competition, the USA have another star-studded roster, including the likes of Olympic champions Helen Maroulis, David Taylor, and Kyle Snyder. The squad also consists of six-time world champion Adeline Gray, Jacarra Winchester, the 2019 world champ, and Chance Marsteller, the 79 kg freestyler. Aside from team USA, the competition also features other top wrestlers including several other Olympic gold medalists. Japan’s Susaki Yui, Turkey’s Taha Akgul, and Islamic Republic of Iran duo Hassan Yazdani and Mohammadreza Geraei are some top names.

Paris 2024 Olympic qualification berths
The upcoming event currently has the same 288 athletes number for the Paris 2024 Olympic qualification berths (192 men and 96 women). While no other country including the host country has reserved quota places, only National Olympic Committees (NOCs) will have a maximum number of 18, that too one per event.
Out of the 18 Olympic weight categories, five categories (90 quotas in total) are set up for the 2023 Senior World Championships. The top four medallists from all the 18 categories at this event will each earn one berth for their NOC. Meanwhile, a bout between the two losers of the bronze medal matches will also take place, with the winner obtaining the last quota.
