On May 23, Atlas was detained in Orange County, Florida, on charges of domestic assault. He was said to have physically abused his longtime partner after becoming enraged when the partner paid attention to someone else. His Career
Jake Atlas made his debut at the Santino Bros Wrestling training facility on August 6, 2016. On October 23, 2019, he entered into a contract with WWE. He made his debut on the brand by beating Gentleman Jack Gallagher on the June 19 episode of “205 Live.”
Atlas and Isaiah “Swerve” Scott competed in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic competition in January 2021. Atlas was released from his WWE contract on August 6, 2021.
On September 3, 2021, it was revealed that Atlas will compete in a special showcase match at Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor XVIII event against Taylor Rust, a fellow recent WWE release.
Soon later, Atlas made the announcement that he was leaving the professional wrestling scene due to mental health issues. Atlas came out of retirement, made his AEW debut, and defeated Serpentico in the December 28 at 2021 AEW Dark taping.
