5. Taki Inoue
Many would not believe, but he has self proclaimed himself as the worst formula 1 driver of all time through his Twitter account.
He raced for a team in the 1994 F1 season, which was crazy for money, Inoue got sponsors for the team himself. Which allowed him to be a paid driver.
Need not elaborate further than the fact that he collided with a safety car during his one year stint in Formula 1.
4. Yuji Ide
A Japanese driver who drove for Super Aguri Team in the 2006 Formula 1 season alongside his countryman, Takuma Sato.
His F1 career lasted for only 4 Grand Prix. Moreover FIA took away his license stating that he is a threat on the tracks to other drivers.
3. Rikky Von Opel
He paid his way into a newly created team called Ensign in 1973. Rikky stayed in the category for two seasons.
After only three races in 1974, he replaced the second driver of Brabham and became the teammate of Argentine Carlos Reutemann. Furthermore in 1974โs Monaco GP, he wasthe only driver to not even qualify.
2. Paul Belmondo
To sum up his F1 career, he entered the qualifying sessions of 27 races but could only participate in seven of them.
Eventually Paul Belmondo realized this kind of amusement was getting way too expensive and abandoned Formula 1.
1. Alex Yoong
His F1 career had a total of 18 races, of which he qualified for fourteen. Malaysian Driver, Alex Yoongโs lap times were always three or more seconds higher than those of the better drivers.
