World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2023 schedule, date, time, teams, venue, live stream

Going into the competition, Scotland’s Bruce Mouat and Jennifer Dodds will attempt to defend their title.

2023 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship groups

Ahead of the competition, the 20 qualified teams have been divided into two round-robin groups:

Group A Australia, Canada, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Republic of Korea, Scotland
Group B Austria, England, Germany, Japan, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Türkiye, United States

2023 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship format

The 2023 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship will feature each team playing against each other once in their round-robin group. The leaders of both groups will then enter the semi-finals directly, while the second and third placed teams from Group A will play against the third and second teams from Group B in the play-offs. The winners of the play-offs will proceed to the semi-finals.

The two winners of the semi-finals will then face off in the final match for the world title. The losers meanwhile will face off each other for the bronze medal. The two teams that finish bottom of Group A and Group B will be automatically relegated to next season’s World Mixed Doubles Qualification event.
