After the game resumed, there was no letup as Allen hammered home a fantastic break of 127 to increase his lead. In the sixth frame, Saengkham had multiple opportunities to win, but he failed to take advantage of them and allowed Allen to win the frame on the pink. Ultimately, Allen won the seventh frame to emerge victorious by score of 6-1.

Following his win, Mark Allen has qualified for the championship match on Sunday against the winner of clash between Shaun Murphy and Judd Trump. Meanwhile, Saengkham will unfortunately settle for semi-final place despite his stellar tun throughout the tournament that saw him defeat defending champion Ronnie O’Sullivan.
