In the quarterfinals of BoyleSports World Grand Prix, Michael van Gerwen put on a superb performance to defeat Chris Dobey. On Friday night in Leicester, Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright, & Nathan Aspinall also achieved victories to join Michael van Gerwen in final-four.

2022 World Grand Prix Darts Day 5 Results, Venue, Draw, Tickets, & Semi-final Schedule
Van Gerwen averaged 99.30 and scored five ton-plus to advance in his quest for a sixth double-start championship, setting up a thrilling semifinal matchup at the Morningside Arena against World Champion Wright. Three of the top four players in the world will be in Saturday’s mouthwatering semi-final lineup in Leicester, with 2020 winner Price set to face Aspinall in the other semifinal. After the Scotsman prevailed against Dimitri Van den Bergh in a thrilling sudden-death decider after three match darts, Van Gerwen will now resume his rivalry with Wright in a rematch of the 2018 final.
In another quarterfinal match, top-seed Price defeated Madars Razma by a score of 3-0 while conceding just two legs in the process. Elsewhere, Aspinall defeated debutant Martin Lukeman by score of 3-2 in the evening’s opening match and advanced to his first World Grand Prix semifinal. Following his blistering start to this tournament, top-seed Price is now 6/4 as per bookmakers while Michael van Gerwen is another favorite with 9/4 odds.
