The 14th World Esports Championship 2022 attracted more than 100 nations from a variety of continents, including Europe, Africa, PANAM, Asia, and Oceania. Through the regional qualifications, the teams from India were able to advance to the finals for three of the six competing titles.

Key Event in World Esports Championship
These three qualified teams will proceed to the main tournament, which is set to take place on December 6. All matches in this stage will follow a best-of-three series, except the grand final, which will be a best-of-five match with the upper bracket team gaining a one-map advantage. Tekken 7 in World Esports Championship
A total of 42 teams will compete in the Tekken 7 tournament, which runs from December 3 through December 10. Of them, two groups will each have six teams, while the other six groups will each have five teams. The top two nations from each group advance to the Playoffs, and all matches will be best-of-one affairs. Along with Palestine, Pakistan, the Bahamas, and Venezuela, Team India is in “Group E.”

eFootball 2023 in World Esports Championship
From December 3 to December 10, the eFootball 2023 will take place. The group stage will have 68 teams divided into 16 groups, with four groups having five teams each and the remaining 12 groups having four teams each. Along with Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan, Guinea, and Armenia, Team India is in “Group P.”
The World Esports Championship 2022 will also include Dota 2, PUBG Mobile, and MLBB in addition to these three competitions. It will be intriguing to observe how Team India does in every competition.
