2022-23 PDC World Darts Championship Day 4 Results, Winners, Score, Upcoming Schedule, Venue, Draw, & Playing Line-up
Adrian Lewis, a two-time World Champion, was eliminated by Heta in straight sets, and Aspinall defeated Boris Krcmar 3-1 in a spirited contest. Lewis lost in the second round for the third year in a row as Heta’s average was 96.17, more than 13 points higher. After the first two sets were split evenly, Krcmar scored a 102 checkout to take the lead before Aspinall rattled off six straight legs to defeat the Croatian.
Williams and Joyce engaged in one of the most high-caliber first-round fights ever seen on the Ally Pally stage. Williams, the 2022 breakthrough star, scored ten 180s & 164 checkout on his route to a spectacular first victory, while former quarterfinalist Joyce’s 103.04 was not enough to overcome Williams. In a match between two of North America’s top players, Danny Baggish outperformed Matt Campbell by a score of 3-0. The two-time World Champion Gary Anderson will be Madars Razma’s opponent after the Latvian won his match against Prakash Jiwa 3-1.
The world’s top player, Gerwyn Price, will face Luke Woodhouse to open his campaign after the latter defeated Vladyslav Omelchenko, the first Ukrainian to compete in the World Championship, 3-0. Another double session will be held on Monday, with past runner-up Simon Whitlock facing Jose de Sousa in the afternoon session’s highlight clash and Price facing Woodhouse in the evening’s main attraction.
