The World Championship of Legends (WCL) will feature professional athletes who are retired competing for fun and entertainment. Players like Shahid Afridi, Yuvraj Singh, Chris Gayle, Kevin Pieterson, and other legends will compete in a legends championship.
This historic event, which brings together cricket legends from all over the world, is made possible with the help of the European Cricket Board. The WCL is scheduled to be the most recent Legends event held in England. The tournament is already approved by the England Cricket Board and is set to start at Edgbaston on July 3.
