2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships latest results, schedule, date, venue, & medal winners list

Aldrin began his first attempt with a jump spanning 7.69 meters. Regrettably, he fouled his subsequent two tries, leading to his expulsion from the men’s long jump event. His performance fell short of his personal record of 7.97 meters, set at the Asian Indoor Championships the previous year. Ultimately, Miltiadis Tentoglou clinched the gold medal with an 8.22-meter jump.

Meanwhile, Chithravel competed in the men’s triple jump, finishing 11th out of 14 participants. Despite starting with jumps of 15.76m and 16.29m, and achieving a season’s best of 16.45m on his third attempt, he couldn’t avoid elimination. Notably, Chithravel holds the national record at 17.37m. Ultimately, Hugues Fabrice Zango from Burkina Faso won the gold medal with a jump of 17.53m.
