The upcoming championships will feature various sports events like hurdles, races, and marathons, high jump, long jump, shot put, javelin throw, etc. It will also feature combined events like the heptathlon and decathlon.
World Athletics Championship 2023 venue and dates
This year’s World’s Athletic Championship is the nineteenth edition of the competition and will take place starting from 19 to 27 August. The National Athletics Centre located in Budapest, Hungary, will serve as the venue for the upcoming competition. The venue was specifically designed and built for the event and it has a seating capacity over 36,000 seats. Budapest was previously linked with hosting the 2007 edition of the World Championships. However, it later withdrew, and the competition eventually took place in Osaka, Japan.
