The world’s number one team USA reached a tally of 26 medals overall after adding two more gold on day 8 of the ongoing World Athletics Championships, Oregon 2022, know the medal list

World Athletics Championships 2022, USA continued to maintain its winning streak for a week now after adding two more gold to its tally on day 8.

In the women’s 400 metres hurdles final, Sydney McLaughlin of USA broke her own record in 50. 68 to claim the world 400 metres hurdles champion title.

A total of four finals were scheduled for the day 8 of the World Athletics Championships 2022.

The first event of the day started with the women’s 35 km race walk event in which Kimberly Garcia León of Peru clinched the gold medal.

Moving to the next event, in women’s Javelin throw final, Kalsey-Lee with an impressive throw of 66.91 m secured the third gold for Australia in the competition.

In women’s 400 metres final, Shaunae Miller-Uibo of Bahamas clinched the gold medal followed by Marileidy Paulino of Dominican Republic for silver and Sada Williams of Barbados for bronze.

In men’s 400 metres final event, Michael Norman of United Staes brought host another gold in the competition. Kirani James of Grenada and Matthew Hudson-Smith of Great Britian secured silver and bronze respectively.
