Team USA announced on Wednesday that gymnastics sensation Simone Biles will take part in the upcoming world championships in Antwerp.
After withdrawing from most of her events at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 because of the pandemic, Biles has impressed since making her competitive debut in August.

The four-time Olympic gold medalist performed the vault known as the Yurchenko double pike, which is so challenging that no other woman has ever attempted it in competition, twice while seeming as bright as ever in two events last month.
The competition serves as a qulaifying event for the Paris Olympics of 2024. The top nine teams in both the men’s and women’s team qualifiers, excluding those that qualified at the World Championships the year before, will each receive five quota spots for Paris. Numerous people will also qualify for nominative berths to the Olympic Games.
