According to latest reports, Indian squad has bagged six medals including three gold at the 2023 World Archery Youth Championships. In this competition, total of 518 archers from 58 countries are participating, including 24-person squad from India.

2023 World Archery Youth Championships schedule, date, venue, & key archers
It is known that at the 2023 World Archery Youth Championships 2023 in Limerick, a 24-person Indian team is competing. Notably, this competition began on 3rd July and will culminate on 9th July. This competition, now in its 18th year, will feature competitions for male and female recurve/compound archers who belong to the age brackets of under-21/under 18. At the University of Limerick, both individual and team events will be held. In the U21 and U18 age divisions, India has sent twelve archers apiece.
During this competition, compound archers Prathamesh Jawkar and Pragati will charge medal hopes of India’s U21 archery team. Meanwhile, recurve archer Parth Salunke will be also one of the key competitors for India. Aditi Gopichand Swami, a 17-year-old compound archer who competed in the senior Archery World Cup and set the U18 world record in the qualification round, is the ace of India’s U18 team. India won a total of 15 medals, including eight golds, at the most recent edition in Wroclaw, Poland, in 2021, taking first place in the medal standings.
