The upcoming archery competition will take place from 31 July to 6 August in Berlin, Germany.

The competition will feature over 530 recurve and compound archers across 10 events, out of which nearly 330 will look to earn an Olympic Games qualification berth.
Maifeld and the Olympischer Platz in the Berlin Olympic Park will serve as the venue for the upcoming competition. Altogether, there are 24 Olympic quota spots to compete for.
World Archery Championships Berlin 2023 competition preview and format
In the upcoming competition, the top three teams in the recurve men’s and recurve women’s events will each get to secure three quota spots per team. Meanwhile, the next three National Olympic Committees that did not secure team qualifications will each get a quota in individual events.
Meanwhile, the mixed team event in Berlin, will not feature any Olympic qualification spots. Moreover, the four individual spots awarded at the 2023 European Games will be re-allocated, if the NOCs from that competition manage to secure any quota spots in Berlin. As for the compound bow, it is a non-Olympic discipline, as such there are no qualification spots available.
