The World Aquatics Championships are being held in the Middle East for the first time. Between 2012 and 2021, Doha hosted nine World Aquatics Swimming World Cup legs in addition to hosting the World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m) in 2014.
Given that these championships are held just five months before the Paris Summer Olympics in 2024, several swimmers and member federations have voiced reservations about the scheduling of these events.
About 2500 competitors in the swimming, diving, and water polo events will come from all over the world. A ticket to the biggest sporting event of the year, the Paris Olympics in 2024, will be available to the competition’s top performers.
Seventy-five events total split into six categories; Artistic Swimming, Diving, Open Water Swimming, Water Polo, High Diving, and Swimming; are included in this tournament. Among the events are women’s solo technical, team acrobatic, mixed duet technical, and more. Tickets for the events can be bought from here.
