Two episodes air on Friday and Saturday of each week for this weekend show. Following the pattern of the other episodes, Episode 10 will run for around an hour. The first season will reportedly consist of 14 episodes, which is two fewer than the average Korean drama. So, following this one, there will be four more episodes.
What Exactly Happened so far?
At the beginning of Wonderful World Episode 8, Seon-yul and Soo-hyun discuss the murder of Ji-woong at a restaurant. Soo-hyun tries to explain to Seon-yul how she killed the man responsible for her son’s murder after suffering an unfair loss to Gun-woo, but she refrains from revealing her knowledge of his identity. In the midst of Seon-yul’s grief over the years following his father’s death, Soo-hyun tries to explain to him why she acted the way she did.
In the next scene, Soo-hyun invites Soo-ho’s mom to a physiotherapy session, where she accompanies her mother. After Soo-hyun sets up the session for their moms, Soo-ho informs his mom about it. After the session, Soo-ho and his mom talk about his wife, and he says he’s happy there.
Regret
Riding home, Soo-ho expresses his gratitude to Soo-hyun for the way he treated his mother. As he trains for his kickboxing bouts, Seon-yul mulls about his chat with Soo-hyun. He’s so tired from training that Soo-jin finds him gasping for air, worried he could pass out. Seon-yul confides in her that he plans to exact extreme measures, including suicide, in his quest to exact vengeance on Soo-hyun.
He goes on to say that he is also determined to destroy her life. The memory of Seon-yul capturing images of Soo-ho’s affair—which isn’t Hye-geum—and the lady he’s seeing from the past comes flooding back. Also, Seon-yul tries to make Soo-hyun regret killing his father by sending pictures to her and Go-eun, respectively.
