The Women’s Rugby World Cup of Sevens will start on September 9 and last until September 11 in South Africa’s renowned stadium. Additionally, sixteen women’s teams will battle against one another for the renowned championship during the event.

2022 Women’s Rugby World Cup of Sevens List of Participating Teams, Schedule, Date, Time, Venue, Format, And Fixtures
The two teams that have combined to win every title since the World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series began in 2013—New Zealand and Australia—will be the favorites in the women’s competition. England, Scotland, and Wales will play as independent teams on the sevens circuit for the last time in the near future at the 2022 World Cup. With an eye toward the Olympic Games Paris 2024, the teams will compete as a combined Great Britain team beginning with the 2022–2023 Sevens Series season.
In the women’s draw, 16 teams will compete in an elimination bracket style. But since loser brackets will be used to determine each team’s ultimate position, every team will play at least four games throughout the event. Quarterfinals will be played within each bracket, then semi-final matches will feature final eight winners and lastly, the final will be played between two semi-final winner.
Australian Women’s team will begin their campaign against Madagascar while hosts South Africa will play their first match against France. Additionally, Fiji will clash against Japan in their Round of 16 match.
