The 2021–22 Women’s FIH Pro League is the third edition of the Women’s FIH Pro League since its establishment in 2019. The Women’s FIH Pro League, which replaced the Women’s FIH Hockey World League, is an international women’s field hockey competition organized by the International Hockey Federation. The tournament also serves as a qualifier for the World Cup of Hockey and the Olympic Games.
Participating Teams, Countries And Format
Originally, a round-robin competition with nine teams was slated to take place from October 2021 to June 2022. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the travel limitations, both New Zealand and Australia announced their withdrawal on September 17, 2021. The FIH announced India and Spain as the replacements on October 8, 2021.

Format And Rules Of FIH Women’s Pro Hockey League 2021-22
The Women’s FIH Pro Hockey League follows the same format as Men’s PHL. The 9 teams will play in a round-robin format in home and away format. After each team have played a total of 16 matches, the top team at the points table will be declared as the champion.
FIH Women’s Pro Hockey League 2022 Results and Score
In the 2021-22 season, six matches have been played so far. The Indian women’s team continued their amazing form of Tokyo Olympics and won their first two matches. India defeated China 7-1 in their first encounter thanks to solid teamwork. In their second encounter, India earned a hard-fought win with 2-1 score line.
In other matches, Belgium won both of their encounters against Germany. Meanwhile, Belgium lost both of their matches against Netherlands.

FIH Women’s Pro Hockey League 2022 Schedule, Date And Fixtures
The next match in the tournament will take place between Netherlands and Spain on 4th February. India will resume their campaign with a match against Netherlands on 19th February at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar.
