The Women’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup in 2022 is the ninth edition of the biannual Women’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup, which is held by the International Hockey Federation every two years. It was set to take place in Potchefstroom, South Africa, from December 5 to 16, 2021. However, it was later postponed, with South Africa remaining the host. The event is taking place at the original venue and will run from April 2 to 13, 2022.
Argentina were the defending champions having won the previous edition. This year also, Argentina were one of the favorites to win the tournament but they got knocked out by Germany with a score of 4-1 in the quarter-finals.

For the final event, a total of 16 teams qualified. Apart from South Africa, which qualified as hosts automatically, 15 other teams qualified from five other continental competitions.
In the preliminaries, 16 teams are divided into four groups and top-two teams from each group qualified for the quarter-finals.

2022 Women’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup Results, Schedule, Date, Time And Fixtures
In the 2022 Women’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup quarter-final, India defeated South Korea 3-0. For the second time in the competition’s history, India has advanced to the semi-finals of the Women’s Junior World Cup. The Indians won this quarterfinal thanks to goals from Mumtaz Khan, Lalrindiki, and Sangita Kumari.
The Netherlands defeated South Africa 5-0 to advance to the semi-finals, where they will face India. Meanwhile, England and Germany will clash in the other semi-final. Both the semi-final matches will be played on 10th April 2022.
