However, the celebration was short-lived as Sangita Kumari, hailing from Jharkhand, swiftly restored India’s two-goal advantage just before the halftime break, leaving the score at 3-1 in India’s favor. In the third quarter, India continued their dominance, adding three more goals to their tally. Deepika initiated the scoring, while Sangita Kumari netted two additional goals to complete her hat-trick. Lalremsiami sealed the commanding victory with a goal in the fourth quarter
