As aforesaid, the clips from the post-match drama featured Matheus Cunha allegedly punching and slapping an Ipswich security guard, ripping off his glasses in the process.
Meanwhile, in the midst of the commotion, Craig Dawson was seen restraining Rayan Aït-Nouri.
The loss leaves Wolves just above the bottom of the Premier League table, narrowly ahead of Southampton, who also parted ways with their manager after a poor start to the season.
Wolves have only nine points from 16 games, sitting five points adrift of safety, making this a daunting challenge for the incoming manager.
Odds for Wolves’ New Manager
Various reports suggest Vítor Pereira is the frontrunner for the role of new manager as betting sites listing him as a 1/6 favorite.
According to the media reports, the club is actively negotiating a deal with Pereira, who is reportedly eager to make the move.
Pereira, currently managing Saudi Pro League side Al Shabab, is set to bring a wealth of experience, with Wolves prepared to pay his release clause to secure his services. If confirmed, this would mark the 14th managerial role in Pereira’s career.
