The Nine-Tailer’s Tale has returned! Lee Yeon is back in his human form as the nine-tailed fox, a condition he has endured for centuries. Yeon finally finds love, but his happily-ever-after is cut short as he is thrust into a mission that takes him back to 1938. Yeon is able to reconnect with Hong-joo there. Once the spirit of a western mountain, she is now, in 1938, the proprietor of Myoyeongak’s finest fine dining establishment. Yeon and his younger brother Lee Rang, who is still alive at this time, run into each other and reconnect. The only way for Yeon to return to the present is to fix the mistakes he made in the past. Is there any chance he’ll survive this?

Since we don’t yet have confirmation from tvN that the show has been renewed for a third season, very little is known about it at this time. While the numbers are generally positive, we do know that it took three years to produce seasons one and two. If the show is given a third season, we may expect it to follow in the footsteps of the second by putting our heroes in a different era. When we have additional information, we will add it here.
It will take time for season 3 to come, it is expected that we will soon get to see Tale of the Nine-Tailed Season 3 2024 or by the end of 2025 or even in 2025, because production also takes time.

Considering that most Korean dramas only last for one season, Tale of the Nine Tailed is already an outlier. Season 2 of the show has produced a tale that is far more consistent than season 1.
