Ultraman fans are saddened after hearing that season 4 won’t be happening as they awaited its release date
Netflix’s next CG animated movie is still on its way.
Ultraman is the most popular science fiction franchise of all time and today, Netflix is releasing the third and final season of the popular animated series.
Will there be a season 4 of Ultraman and release date status update
Ultraman season 4 will not be sadly made. More than 70 Ultraman Television series and films have been produced since its debut in 1966. The global Ultraman community is now looking forward to more Ultraman content to put on Netflix and thanks to the upcoming CG-animated feature movie.

Unfortunately, Netflix’s Ultraman animated series comes to its semi-definitive conclusion, its released season 3 is being promoted as the finale to Shin Hayata’s storyline. Productions confirmed season 3 and marked it as the last and final installment of the Ultraman series.
Netflix is still working on a new Ultraman movie
In 2021, Netflix declared that they were working on their brand-new CG-animated feature movie, along with Tsuburaya Productions and the Industrial Light and Magic Productions, for the Ultraman franchise.
The movie will focus on the Baseball superstar Ken Sato, who will be back in Japan from playing in MLB in the United States in order for picking up the mantle of Ultraman. But unfortunately, Sato realizes that he has become a globally famous Baseball player. Later he thought that it is easier than becoming Ultraman whom Japan needs for raising a newborn who is the child of his mortal enemy Kajju.
A fixed release date for the Ultraman film has not yet been shared. However, the consensus within the global community is saying that the movie will premiere either in 2023 or maybe 2024.
Takayuki Tsukagoshi, CEO of Tsuburaya Productions, celebrated movies going into production, noting “Ultraman since it was made, has charmed many people around the globe.”
The Director of Original Animated Films at Netflix Aram Yacoubian said, “Having an opportunity in partnering with our friends at the Tsuburaya Productions for bringing this amazing character to our members around the globe will be a big honor for us.”
