Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 271 began with Yuji, Megumi and Nobara continuing with their final mission. In this chapter we saw, Yuji reflecting on the death of his mentor, Satoru Gojo. In addition, we also see a memory flashback, where Gojo can be seen talking to Yuji and expressing that he hope Yuji will surpass him one day.
Meanwhile, the main antagonist, Ryomen Sukuna, finds his own resolution as he admitted he lost the battle. During the final panel, we get to witness Sukunaโs cursed finger lying in a forest with uncanny mysterious energy releasing vibes off unfinished business.
Despite these points, the series didnโt answer all points. For instance, Sukunaโs past was revealed to have ties with Uraume, but their nature of relationship never been discussed.
In addition, Tengenโs role, Kenjakuโs secrets, and the involvement of other nation in the culling games were left answered. Due to these unresolved issue, many fans are speculating that the series may continue or perhaps return with a sequel.

Despite fansโ disappointment towards the unanswered questions, Jujutsu Kaisen appears to have come to a close. As of now there is no news of future chapters or its sequels, but given the fans response and popularity of the manga series, it may be possible that the series might end up returning with a spinoff or its sequel.
