The media manager for the Afghanistan cricket team, Hikmat Hassan, stated that the team will participate in the T20 World Cup is assured. The country will be represented by all available players. “Yes, we’ll play within the T20 World Cup,” he said to ANI. “Preparations are ongoing, and available players will report to Kabul for training in the coming days.”

Hikmat also discussed the country’s cricket prospects. They’re seeking a venue for the tri-series between Australia and the West Indies, which will serve as the best warm-up for the World T20.
