Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris has been banned indefinitely from Twitch, and he will not be allowed to stream on the platform until the ban is removed
Soda has been banned twice since early 2020, the last time for only 24 hours for nudity in a VRChat stream.
The reason for Soda’s ban on April 13 has yet to be revealed by Twitch. Similarly, the popular performer has yet to respond and has been absent from his Wednesday feed.

Who is Spdapoppin?
Thomas Chance Morris (born February 15, 1994) is an American Twitch broadcaster and Internet celebrity better known by his online nickname Sodapoppin. With over 3 million followers and over 360 million views on Twitch, he has one of the greatest audiences.
Morris also has a YouTube channel, which has over 1 million members and 380 million views as of November 2020.

Morris was a co-owner of Northern Gaming, a Canadian eSports organization. NRG Esports, which is controlled by Shaquille O’Neal, Alex Rodriguez, and others, bought the organization in August 2017. Morris later became a member of the company’s ownership group and an advisor to NRG Esports.
What happened to Sodapoppin?
Sodapoppin followers have proposed one probable cause: on April 9, the 28-year-old Austin-based streamer drew the ire of some viewers when he applied cosmetics to a generic face in a game he was playing while simultaneously shouting “blackface.” Dot Esports is aware that this is against Twitch’s terms of service.
The ban will last anywhere from three to seven days. Similar crimes, assuming Sodapoppin was suspended for the April 9 video, lasted around the same amount of time.
Sodapoppin had been online on the Amazon-owned platform nearly every day in 2022 until his shocking suspension this week. He only missed five days in January, and he was gone on February 16 and March 29.

Last month, the momentarily banned celebrity was nominated for the first-ever ‘Legacy Award’ at the inaugural Streamer Awards, but he lost to long-reigning Twitch queen Imane “Pokimane” Any.
The Twitch celebrity presently has 3.23 million followers.
