There have recently been reports that Josh Jacobs, the standout running back for the Las Vegas Raiders, attacked a waitress and was arrested for it. The social media rumour spread swiftly, worrying the fan base.

The NFL already has many domestic abusers on its list, and the league doesn’t necessarily need any more. This season, Jacobs has also come into his own. Had he behaved in that way, his career may have been over.

This rumour, however, is untrue, according to numerous sources, including the running back himself.

In the meantime, while all of this was going on, Jacobs tweeted that he was completely confused after seeing the rumour online. Additionally, he stated that he hadn’t even left his residence that day, making it impossible for him to attack a waitress. A TMZ Sports reporter also stated that there isn’t any verifiable information about Jacobs or any other Raiders player.

Tuesday saw a spike in social media claims about Raiders running back Josh Jacobs being detained for assaulting a waitress and that the incident had been captured on camera.

“Hold on what’s going on”

“Why mfs always playing with my name cuhh”

He also added by saying:

I haven’t even left the crib today”

The Raiders have had a difficult season, but losing their star running back for something as stupid as attacking a woman would have probably ended their chances of a winning season. Fortunately for Jacobs’ fantasy managers, team supporters, and the team itself, it looks that the running back has committed no offences, and the alleged incident is a complete fraud.

The 2019 first-round draft pick running back has had a respectable career thus far. But he never really proved why he deserved that draft position. Jacobs has emerged as one of the few productive players on a 2-6 Raiders squad.

A visual demonstrating how successful he has been this year was posted on October 28. Comparatively, the star running back was performing better than Marcus Allen did in 1985, when he won MVP, and the difference wasn’t all that great. Jacobs’ performance hasn’t been as strong as it once was, and he’s slowed down a bit over the past two weeks, but he’s still enjoying a career year.
