So, a girl who is on tour and has nothing to do with this mistake was rudely blamed, slut-shamed & falsely accused. Anyone who did those crimes and still possessed some human decency was courageous enough to apologize to her? 😕

For those who are unversed with the situation, let us tell you, the music streaming platform Spotify has recently Tagged BTS’ Jungkook as the most streamed K-Pop Soloist of 2022.
Many fans accepted and celebrated the fact enthusiastically considering Jungkook did drop a number of record-breaking projects in this year, including the FIFA World Cup 2022 song Dreamers.
However, the platform backtracked on their own words, as they once again took to Twitter and tagged BLACKPINK’s Lisa as the recipient of the title.
However, they didn’t merge their tags properly, resulting in a blunder which caused the social media platform Twitter to go wild as many fans started harassing the singer for bagging the title.
Although Twitter is almost flooded with harassed comments and backlash, Blinks came forward to defend their favourite idol as they backlash on Spotify.
One such fans took to Twitter and raged on Spotify, “Your Mistakes caused a woman to be slvt-shamed, bodyshamed, xenophobic comments, all by the fandom you’re celebrating with. You could’ve been fair by acknowledging both parties you’ve wronged!”
Another fan wrote, “Giving in to cyberbullying encourages this crime to further. As a music platform, you should be firm & confident in explaining music genres instead of redefining K-pop and choosing LISA as a scapegoat!”
Following the incident a hashtag “APOLOGIZE TO LISA,” is trending on the top of Twitter’s worldwide trend sections.
Many fans are asking Spotify to apologize to Lisa as if the platform has not made the mistake in the first place, the K-Pop idol doesn’t have to be the subject to hateful comments and cyber harassment.
Meanwhile a number of Blinks are not appreciating Spotify’s correction comment about “celebrating the many achievements of BTS,” as they are speculating the main perpetrators behind these hateful comments towards Lisa are none other than BTS fans.
