On Sunday, unknown attackers shot and killed Punjabi musician and Congress politician Sidhu Moosewala alias Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu in Jawaharke village near Mansa District in Punjab.

The tragedy occurred barely one day after the Punjab government removed 424 people’s protection, including the singer. According to reports, Moosewala had 4 police gunmen on his protection detail, two of whom were reportedly withdrawn.
At the time of his death, he was just 27 years old. When the gunmen opened fire on the musician and his two friends, he was in his car. He was sent to a neighbouring hospital and pronounced dead.

Now, according to current developments, Lawrence Bishnoi’s group has claimed responsibility for the incident.
They did so by posting about it on Facebook, and according to their posts, they killed him to take avenge the deaths of Vikramjit alias Vicky Middukhera. Who Was Vikramjit Singh Middukhera?
Vikramjit Singh Middukhera, popularly known as Vicky Middukhera was a Youth Akali Dal leader who was killed on 7th August 2021. His death has caused a huge uproar across Punjab with much demanding speedy justice.
He was born on July 27, 1988, at Middu Khera village of Malout district. He, later, spent his childhood at Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab, India. His father’s name is Gurdyal Singh who is a farmer by profession and known to be a close associate of Shiromani Akali Dal. He also had a brother named Ajay Pal Singh Middukhera.
He received his early education at a private institution near his house. He earned his bachelor’s degree in defence studies from the reputed Panjab University in Chandigarh, India.
He got married in 2019 and died in 2021. His wife’s name is not known.
His Career
Since his student days, he enjoyed taking leadership. He was the president of the Student Organization of Panjab University (SOPU) in Chandigarh and a leader of various student unions. He performed such a good job that he won university elections and was elected president of Students Of India (SOI).
SOI is a student group that is affiliated with SAD. Sukhbir Singh Badal, the Chief of SAD, and Vicky were very close, hence he chose Vicky to be the president of the SOI Chandigarh section. Vicky was constantly under Sukhbir Singh Badal’s supervision and was also a member of the Youth Akali Dal.
Death Cause Of Vikramjit Singh Middukhera
On the morning of August 7, 2021, as he drove home from the Mataur market with his automobile, 4 heavily armed and masked guys fired roughly ten rounds at Vicky. He attempted to flee to a secure location, but he collapsed. He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead.
According to reports, mobster Amit Dagar has been named in the FIR filed in connection with his murder. However, many people also tell different and involve Sidhu Moosewala in this case.
