Who was Mark Adrian?
Mark Adrian worked in Hollywood as an electrician and lighting tech. Last season, he was in charge of lighting for 16 episodes of The Neighborhood. From 2021 to 2022, he worked on the show, but he didn’t come back for the fifth season.
Adrian’s first credit on IMDb was added in 1991. In Bed With Madonna, a documentary about the pop star’s controversial Blonde Ambition 1990 tour, he was called the best boy electric.
IATSE Local 728, a group that has been working on lighting for movies for almost a century, talked about Mark Adrian’s death. They confirmed that the technician died on January 5, 2023, when he or she was 58 years old.
Adian was chief lighting technician
Mark Adrian has worked on more than just The Neighborhood. He has lit a number of well-known TV shows and movies. Adrian was the assistant chief lighting technician on the food movie Chef, which came out in 2014.
From 2004 to 2007, Adrian worked on the Nickelodeon show Unfabulous as an electrician and lighting board technician. This is the show that made Emma Roberts famous. Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide was another Nickelodeon show that Adrian worked on around the same time. Mark Adrian even worked as a gaffer on SpongeBob SquarePants, one of the most popular shows on the kids network.
